About Renate Aichinger

renate aichinger (b. 1976) lives in vienna where she works as a writer and theatre director. she has written three books: welt.all.tag (2012) and two collections of poetry wundstill (2014) and endeln (2016). her fourth book #flirren will be published in september 21
several awards and scholarships, e.g. rauriser förderungspreis, nestroy-theaterpreis, versopolis-poetess (lviv, antwerpen/gent, belgrad, bratislava) and residences at krakau, paliano or schwaz.
she worked at several theatres, e.g. junges schauspielhaus zürich and between 2016 and 2019 she was head of the offene burg department at the burgtheater wien.
